Modern police work is teamwork

14 March 2023

In this video you will see how easily and efficiently you can document a traffic accident with Smartpolice. This process from incident to court has been thought through and implemented from end to end. It exemplifies all crimes where the police use digital evidence.

Halving the time for creating photo documentations

29 September 2022

The facts are clear.

The digitisation of police work is already here with Smartpolice.

With Smartpolice, the Schwyz Cantonal Police halves the time needed to create photo documentation (photo folders) with approx. 6 photos per documentation. In the past, experienced users of the Schwyz Cantonal Police needed about 12 minutes with the help of Word templates. Today, with Smartpolice, it takes about 6 minutes.

Enormous efficiency gains can be achieved with thousands of photo documentations which are handed over to the public prosecutor's office.

With one link, the public prosecutor's office can view other photos and videos in Smartpolice in addition to photo documentation. In the past, evidence was transferred from the police to the public prosecutor's office by means of storage devices.

Police work is not only becoming faster and more efficient. Thanks to Smartpolice's standardisation, the quality of photo documentation increases significantly.

Digitisation of police work at Fujitsu Forum 2019

The Fujitsu Forum Munich 2019 will take place on 6 and 7 November 2019 in Munich. We will be exploring how a people-first («human-centric») approach to the latest digital technologies is helping to build trust in new business models and ultimately helping to improve lives.

Working at futureLAB

13 August 2018

I made the the right decision!

After two months at futureLAB I got more than expected. I have been very well supported with onboarding and have encountered a good mix of «fun & work».

Review

After spending many years at a large company, I decided to start over within a SMB. Since I obtained some information from a former employee and current employees in advance, I had a certain idea what to expect. Yet I was very pleasantly surprised. What impresses me in particular are the team spirit, the dedication and the sense of duty from each colleague to create a high-quality product.

Culture

All pull on the same string. Efficient structures and processes are available, only as much as necessary and limited to the essentials. Due to the pleasant and open working atmosphere in the team, I felt very comfortable from the beginning. In the coffee breaks and the two-week «flaBÉROs» I was able to participate in lively discussions on various topics. An open and result-oriented team culture is promoted through holistic and critical thinking. For the first time, the results of my work as a software developer are visible. I am responsible for the entire process from requirement to delivery and post-processing, including customer interaction.

Vision

All colleagues are committed to continuous product improvement to meet the needs of our customers and the market. This allows us to fulfill our mission «for a secure future». Even if I'm not directly involved in the market development, I see where the journey is going.

High performance thanks to easy handling

23 May 2018

futureLAB has set new standards with Smartpolice in terms of simplicity, user-friendliness and suitability for use in the police market.

A recent quotation from a Zurich Police officer bears witness to this: «We are thrilled with Smartpolice and the integrated mobile app, it is a masterpiece and we look forward with eager anticipation to new functions! It is hard to imagine how we once worked with foto and video material.»
